What is automation integration?
Automation integration means connecting your business apps so data moves between them on its own, then automating the workflows that run across them. For example, a won deal in the CRM creates the invoice in accounting and starts onboarding in your project tool. It removes manual data entry, cuts errors and gives every team the same up-to-date information.
What is business process automation?
Business process automation (BPA) uses software to run repeatable processes, like approvals, invoicing, onboarding or reporting, with little or no manual work. Rules handle predictable steps, AI handles messy inputs like emails and documents, and people step in only where judgment is needed. The result is faster, more consistent work at lower cost.
What is workflow automation?
Workflow automation is setting up a series of tasks to run automatically when something happens. A trigger, such as a new form entry or a paid invoice, starts actions in one or more apps, like creating a record, sending a message or updating a spreadsheet. Tools like Zapier, Make and n8n, or custom code, run the workflow.
What is the difference between integration and automation?
Integration connects systems so they can share data, for example syncing contacts between your CRM and email tool. Automation uses those connections to do work without a person, for example sending a welcome email and creating a task when a new customer signs up. Integration is the plumbing; automation is the work that flows through it.
How much do automation integration services cost?
Most projects cost between $3,000 and $80,000+. A few quick-win workflows usually cost $3,000 to $10,000. Connecting CRM, accounting and operations tools with AI steps costs $10,000 to $35,000. Enterprise programs with ERP, legacy systems and AI agents cost $35,000 to $80,000+. Ongoing managed plans start at about $750 per month.
What is CRM integration?
CRM integration connects your CRM, such as HubSpot or Salesforce, with the other tools your business uses: website forms, email, calendars, billing, accounting and support. Customer data then updates everywhere automatically, so sales, marketing, finance and support all see the same record without copy-paste.
Can you integrate the tools we already use without replacing them?
Yes. Most projects connect the tools you already pay for, through their APIs or webhooks. If a system has no API, we use database connectors or RPA bots as a bridge. We only suggest replacing a tool when it truly can't be connected or costs more to work around than to swap.
Should we use Zapier, Make, n8n or custom integration?
Zapier and Make suit a handful of simple, low-volume workflows. n8n suits higher volumes or data you want on your own servers, with flat costs. Custom code suits core workflows with complex rules or thousands of runs a day. Many businesses use a mix, and we recommend based on your needs, not on a reseller deal.
What is an MCP server and how does it help automation?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI agents use your business tools safely. An MCP server exposes actions like 'find customer' or 'create ticket' from your CRM, files or database, with permissions you control. AI agents can then complete multi-step workflows across tools, with a person approving anything risky.
How do AI agents automate business workflows?
An AI agent reads a request, decides the steps and uses your tools to complete them, for example qualifying a lead, updating the CRM and booking a meeting. We give agents clear permissions, log every action and add human approval for payments, deletions or anything above a set limit, so they help without taking risks.
Which processes should we automate first?
Start with work that is frequent, rule-based and painful: copying data between apps, sending routine emails, creating invoices, routing leads or onboarding new customers and staff. A free workflow audit ranks your processes by hours saved and effort, so the first project pays back quickly.
How long does an automation integration project take?
A few quick-win workflows take 1 to 3 weeks. Connecting CRM, accounting and operations tools takes 4 to 8 weeks. Enterprise integrations with ERP, legacy systems or AI agents take 2 to 6 months, delivered in phases so you see savings early.
Are automations secure?
Yes, when they're built properly. We use OAuth and single sign-on instead of shared passwords, keep API keys in a secrets vault, give each workflow only the access it needs and log every run. For regulated data we follow GDPR and HIPAA rules and build SOC 2-ready controls.
Who maintains the automations after launch?
We can, through a monthly managed automation plan that covers monitoring, fixes, API change updates and new workflows. Or we hand over full documentation and train your team to run them. Either way, every workflow has alerts, so problems are caught in minutes, not weeks.
Do we own the workflows and integrations you build?
Yes. Every workflow, script, connector and diagram is built in your own accounts and belongs to you from day one. We sign an NDA before we start, and there are no license fees or lock-in, so you can take everything in-house whenever you want.
