Discovery & Workflow Mapping
We mapped how design teams actually models were actually good at.
AngleBrackets is a mobile app development company that designs and builds iOS, Android and cross-platform apps for startups and growing businesses in the US, UK, Canada and UAE. We work in Swift, Kotlin, Flutter and React Native, and pick the stack that fits your budget and your users, not our habits. Senior engineers, a working build every two weeks, and an app you fully own from the first commit.

Mobile apps, SaaS platforms, AI products and custom software for early-stage startups and established companies, all shipped to real users.

Long-term partners across the US, UK, Canada and UAE. Many came back for a second app, a new version or a new product.

Mobile, backend and QA engineers who've shipped production apps to the App Store and Google Play, not just prototypes.

Your app, your code, your store accounts. Signed NDA before the first detailed call and a full handover at the end.
FROM IDEA TO APP STORE
Six clear stages with a working build on your phone every two weeks, so you always know what's done, what's next and what it costs.

Two-week sprints, each ending with a new build installed on your own phone.

Store submission, crash monitoring and monthly updates as your users ask for more.
Payments have to work every single time. This is the part of an app where a small bug costs real money, so we build it on the platforms Apple, Google and your customers already trust.
Apple's system for digital goods and subscriptions on iPhone. We set up products, free trials, upgrades and receipt checks, so revenue isn't lost to edge cases.
The Android side of the same job: subscriptions, one-time purchases and promo codes, with server-side checks so purchases can't be faked.
We integrate Stripe for most payment and subscription billing work; it's reliable, well-documented, and the standard most SaaS products are built on.
For markets or customers who specifically expect it, we add PayPal alongside Stripe, so checkout doesn't lose a sale over payment method preference.
For SaaS products sold internationally, we also work with Paddle, which handles global tax compliance as the merchant of record, so you don't have to worry about that complexity.
One place to manage subscriptions across iOS and Android, with trial, churn and revenue analytics, so you don't build that plumbing yourself.
We are proud of the great projects AngleBrackets has taken part in. Here are some of the most asked questions.
Mobile app development is the process of planning, designing, building, testing and launching software for smartphones and tablets. It includes native iOS and Android apps, cross-platform apps made with Flutter or React Native, the backend and APIs that power them, App Store and Google Play release, and ongoing updates after launch.
We offer custom mobile app development, native iOS and Android apps, cross-platform apps in Flutter and React Native, UI/UX design, MVP development, enterprise apps, AI features, backend and cloud work, app rescue and modernization, wearable and tablet apps, and ongoing maintenance. You can hire us for one service or the whole build.
A focused MVP takes about [8 to 12 weeks]. A full-featured app takes [3 to 5 months], and an enterprise app with many integrations [5 to 9 months] or more. App Store and Google Play review adds a few days. You get a working build on your phone every two weeks, so you see progress long before launch.
Choose cross-platform (Flutter or React Native) when you want iOS and Android from one codebase, a faster launch and lower cost. Choose native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) when your app depends on heavy graphics, advanced device features or the newest OS capabilities. Most startups and business apps are well served by cross-platform today.
Look for a company that has shipped real apps to both stores, shows you who will write your code, gives a fixed-scope estimate, and lets you own the code and store accounts. Ask for a clickable prototype before full development and check reviews on independent sites. Avoid anyone who quotes a price before understanding your users.
Launch where your users are. In the US, UK and Canada, iPhone users often make up half or more of the market and tend to spend more in apps, so iOS first is common. In South Asia, Africa and Latin America, Android leads. With Flutter or React Native, you can launch on both at once for little extra cost.
An MVP, or minimum viable product, is the smallest version of your app that real users can download and pay for or use. It usually includes sign-up, one core feature and analytics. It lets you test the idea with real people in weeks, protects your budget, and gives you data to decide what to build next.
The main ways are subscriptions, in-app purchases, paid downloads, ads, and selling physical goods or services through the app. Many business apps make money indirectly by saving staff time or keeping customers loyal. Consumers spent $150 billion on in-app purchases in 2024, so subscriptions and purchases are worth planning from day one.
Yes. We add AI features like chat assistants that answer from your own data, smart search, recommendations, photo and document scanning, and voice. We build on models like GPT, Claude or Gemini rather than training from scratch, set usage limits so costs stay predictable, and keep user data private.
Yes. We start with a code audit of about a week, then fix crashes, security gaps and store warnings first. After that we improve the design, speed and features step by step, or rebuild parts that can't be saved, without taking the app offline for your users.
We handle the full release: developer accounts in your name, store listings, screenshots, privacy labels, the Google Play data safety form, and builds that follow Apple's App Store Review Guidelines and Google Play policies. Apple charges $99 a year for a developer account and Google a one-time $25.
Plan for about [15 to 20%] of the original build cost each year. That covers updates for new iOS and Android versions, bug fixes, security patches, hosting, monitoring and small improvements. We offer monthly support plans, so your app keeps working every time Apple and Google release a new version.
Yes. Most of our clients are in the US, along with the UK, Canada and UAE. We have an office in Miami and an engineering team in Karachi, which gives you US-time-zone communication with costs lower than a US-only team. Calls, updates and demos happen in your working hours.
Yes to both. We sign an NDA before your first detailed call. You own 100% of the source code, designs, data and IP, and your App Store and Google Play accounts are set up in your name from the start. At handover you get the full code, documentation and access, with no lock-in.
Tell us what you want to build and who it's for. Our mobile app development team will show you the fastest honest path from idea to an app in both stores, and build it with you.
